Monday April 15th – DDGA Women’s Pennant Golf Rd 1

Monday 15^th April saw the beginning of the women’s pennant season. Romsey were drawn to play Lancefield at Trentham in the Division 3 Handicap. The weather was perfect not a breeze to be felt and warm and sunny. The players were all inspired after watching Tiger Woods win at Augusta. Unfortunately after most players having to give strokes we went down 3/2. We all agreed the course was in good condition and some of the greens beat us. The other match at Trentham, Avenel went down to Trentham 3 ½ /1 ½ .
