Twilight Golf

Tired of waiting to get on course? Well, wait no more.  At Romsey,  9 times out of 10, you will be able to walk up to the 1st tee, pay your green fees and hit off.   Fairway, surrounds and greens are in excellent condition.

Course Marshals will be on course checking players’ green fees  receipts – paper from the “Green Fees” box or digital so make sure you have your phone with you.   Without a valid “Green Fees” receipt (paper or digital) you will not be covered by the club’s public liability policy and you will be totally responsible for any damage to an individual and/or their property.

Carts: All carts  are asked to stay well clear of all greens and surrounds  Green Fees players, if you are unsure about using a cart, please check when you book

We would like to welcome all the RGC Voucher holders (RJFNC, LJFNC, Kerrie Hall, Bolinda P. S) on to our course.  We hope you “hit them long & hit them straight”  (Just not too often)

Green Fees

There will not be a refund if a green fees golfer is unable to play/complete their round.

Playing A Round– There are QR Green Fees codes on the 1st, 4th, 5th, 6th & 7th tees – So, No Excuses

All players should be able to produce the correct paper (the white slip stapled to the brown envelope), or digital receipt on a phone/iPad, to show they have paid Green Fees

Extreme Weather Policy

Heat; If, between 12.00pm & 4.00 pm on the day before a round, the weatherzone site for Romsey predicts a midday or 3.00pm temperature of greater than 33ºC  then hit-off will be at 8.30am.  If there is to be an early start for Saturday’s golf members will be informed by text and/or Email by 4.00pm on Friday  

Rain; If, at 4.00 pm on the day before a round, the weatherzone site for Romsey predicts a 70% or higher chance of 10mm or more of rain in the late morning and afternoon then, hit-off will be at 8.30am.

Check here; weatherzone. Please be aware that this information comes from the Weather Observation Station at Kilmore Gap. In winter it can be 2 – 3 Deg colder and often far wetter there than at Romsey.  Another option for Romsey weather – WillyWeather
