Sunday March 20th – Country Teams Fundraiser – Euroa G. C.

A perfect day for golf greeted those who travelled to the Euroa Golf Club for the DDGA Country Teams Fundraiser. The course was in near perfect condition and with the 4 Person Ambrose format scores were very low.
Romsey had two teams, John Freestone, Clive Mensforth, Bob McLennan and Scott Williams in the men’s comp, and Beryl Cole, Jenny Hartley, Wendy Gosden and Darlene Baker in the women’s.  Elaine Scanlon was stationed at the BBQ all day and players fed players as the passed the clubhouse.
The men’s team from Woodend had a scorching round and won the best scratch score of the day
