Sunday April 30th – DDGA Men’s Pennant Rd 5

The final round of the 2023 DDGA Men’s Pennant saw the Scratch team take on Broadford at Mt Macedon and the Handicap team take on Hidden Valley at  Woodend.  A clear, sunny day with a temperature in the mis teens.  Light wind from the SSE.  Mt Macedon was its usual picturesque self and handled the four teams well. Woodend had recently cored their greens and while they were a little sandy  they putted quite well.

Scratch;   Mal Mottram – W, Daniel Wright– L, Dylan Harris – L, Andrew Clement – W & Mitch Atlas – L.

 Broadford D Romsey – 3/2

Handicap results;  Luke Lyons;  W3/2, Davie Kenney; W4/3, Pat Chisholm; L2/1, Scott Williams; W3/2 & John Freestone; L21st

Romsey D Hidden Valley – 3/2.  

Final results for the 2023 Div 3 Handicap season were; Woodend 3 wins, Broadford 2 wins 12 games, Lancefield and Hidden Valley 2 wins 9 games & Romsey 2 wins 7 games.  The final will be; Woodend Vs Broadford
