Saturday December 3rd – Stableford

Another top day, clear skies, plenty of sun and virtually no wind.  While a great deal of the rough had been mown there were large areas just waiting to swallow up a ball, numerous players seemed to find those areas.  Despite the good conditions it proved a challenge to post a good score.  The semi-finals of the John Laing Shield were also in action and both matches were close with one going down to the final hole.   On a beautiful sunny, early summer’s day the results were;

3rd; Pat Chisholm (11) – 32 pts C./B from Craig Sandy & Davey Kenney
