Wednesday September 27th – Stroke & Putts

Lovely spring weather greeted a small but determined group of women as they headed to the tee to playing stroke and record putts .   The growth across the course is astounding and many players found their excellent shot siting down on longish grass in the centre of the fairway.  A hardy group of volunteers were working across the course at the same time scarifying, topdressing, seeding and fertilising  the greens.  As with every year they do a great job rejuvenating the greens.  On a glorious spring morning the results were;
Winner; Darlene Baker – 101/23/78 from Beryl Cole – 105/26/79 & Jenny Hartley – 116/31/85
Least putts; Darlene Baker- 29
