Wednesday March 10th – Stableford, 1st Rd Silver Spoon

Overnight rain eased to a light drizzle by tee off time and quickly disappeared to allow the sun to shine on a typical autumn day.  It was a day made for good scoring but only Rob Slade was able to take advantage by scoring a tidy 39 points. Others seemed to shine for one nine only to fall away on the other nine.
A running competition of Stableford for the second round of the Silver Spoon was started with Jenny Hartley the clubhouse leader.
