Wednesday June 18th – Stableford

Another very chilly start to the  day as players headed to the tee for the club’s  Wednesday stableford competition.  The cold air and soft fairways saw everyone lose distance, both in the air and on the ground where some balls plugged as they landed or just hit, popped up and rolled forward a few centimetres.  It was a challenge to play consistent golf in the difficult conditions; close to your handicap was an excellent morning’s work.  The round’s results were;

1st; David Jones (14) – 32pts,

2nd; Rob McDonald (13) – 31 pts,

3rd; Jenny Hartley  (21) – 27 pts.
