Wednesday July 25th – Monthly Medal – Stroke

Competition conditions were quite heavy however there was some very pleasant sunshine.  The cold air saw many approaches left short and fairways hit often plugged due to the casual water and heaviness of fairways after the 25mm plus rain over the past couple of days. Greens were running true.  Pars were difficult to come by; Bruce scoring a great par on the par 3 1st  and Jenny narrowly missing a birdie by 10cm on par 3, 16th.  The Medal was a tussle between Jenny and Elaine with the lead changing many times until Elaine sunk a couple of long putts.  On a sunny winter’s day on a very wet course the results were:
