Another chilly, overcast start to the round cleared to become a fine and sunny winter’s day. Ten players took to the course in different formats and enjoyed the conditions. The course has been maintained by our dedicated staff throughout the covid pandemic and it is in fine condition.  The fairways are super and the greens near perfect. Apart from a few boggy patches and heavy conditions underfoot, it is a pleasure to play at Romsey Golf Club and a credit to our volunteers who work so hard.
A group of women played a composite course to avoid the casual water on some holes whilst another group of men, joined by Trent, a visitor from Woodend, played the normal 18 holes from the red tees.
