Wednesday August 9th – Stableford

Still, sunny conditions greeted the field as they headed out for the day’s Stableford round. The recent rains had seen casual water on many parts of the course but those who found the middle of the fairways  were generally rewarded with lush green lies and, for the first time in quite a few weeks, the birds had left the greens alone.  The good sized field enjoyed the day although the heavy condition made it difficult to card a good score.  The morning’s results were;

Winner; Wendy Gosden – 27 points C/B from Elaine Scanlon,Jenny Hartley – 26 points .

Nine hole winner; Leila Beasley .
