The August Medal was played in very wet, cold conditions.  It was heavy going with large patches of mud and slush on the fairways.  The grass cover on the fairways is excellent at the moment so when relief from the casual water was taken a good lie was easily found. The intermittent rain caused havoc with brollies being put up and then down again many times over. Persisting through the cold and wet was a challenge and made scoring difficult. Results on the day;

Winner and August Medalist; Darlene Baker 104/25/82 from Jenny Hartley & Lorraine Robb
Men’s Winner; Hugh Williams – 109/26/83
Least putts; Hugh Williams – 30
