Wednesday August 13th – Stableford (Yellow course)

Very cold morning air saw all players well wrapped up as they teed offf in the club’s Stableford competition.  The heavy overnight frost still lay on many of the greens making them initially quite slow however, those playing the early holes 2nd and 3rd had quite an advantage.  As the frost/dew evaporated the greens became much quicker.  The morning’s results were;

1st; David Jones (6) – 35 pts

2nd; Sherif Abdel-Sayed (16) – 32 pts

3rd; Darlene Baker (6) C/B  Rob McDonald (5)

NTPs; 7th – David Jones, 11th – Rob McDonald
