The Victorian Women’s Par 3 Championship has been played primarily at Kyabram Parkland Golf Club since 2006. This year 133 women headed to Kyabram to play in the Championship.

Parkland is a unique course comprising 18 par 3 holes with small sloping greens and is a fantastic test of your short game.
With two days of sunny, winter weather the challenge was set and players teed off in groups of 3 or 4. Over the week 68 Clubs from all parts of Victoria participated and Romsey GC was among them.
The Dalhousie District was well represented and players featured strongly in the tournament results.  Kathy from Woodend was nearest the pin on the final day and Jan from Trentham was the winner of the C Grade Net over the two days. Romsey’s Beryl Cole and Darlene Baker finished well both winning the Net on the second day in B and A Grade respectively, a fine achievement.
Jenny Hartley, Elaine Scanlon, Lorraine Robb and Wendy Gosden along with Beryl and Darlene enjoyed the two days of golf and thoroughly enjoyed the hospitality of those at Kyabram Parklands and Golf Australia.
The 2019 Championships finished with a play-off between two Victorian State team players Jess Pickwick and Steph Vogel, with Steph winning on the first play-off hole.
