Sunday March 17th – DDGA Country Teams Fundraiser – Euroa G. C.

136 players from throughout Dalhousie District participated in the annual 4-player Ambrose at Euroa. Golfers enjoyed a well-presented course in late summer weather conditions.  DDGA Life Membership was presented to Joyce White from Avenel who has held all executive positions in Dalhousie and caddied for country teams from 2002-2013. Additionally she was very active with the committee working towards the amalgamation of the Dalhousie District men’s and women’s associations. There was some fantastic scores on the day.

Men’s results: Euroa with a of score 60         Nett winners; Avenel 65-10 -54
Women’s result;  Nett Broadford/ Mooroopna – 71 from RGC – Darlene Baker/Wendy Gosden/Jenny Hartley/Elaine Scanlon 74-12.25-61.75
Mixed results:  Nett winners Euroa – 65-8-56
The RGC Team of  enjoyed witnessing Wendy’s birdie on the par 3 12th and Darlene’s great 80 meter chip in for birdie on the par 4 16th.  Wendy rounded off the day with a NTP on the 12th.
