Saturday May 25th – May Medal & Medal of Medalists

After the final days of the week being very cold it was a pleasant surprise to tee up for the May Medal and the Medal of Medalists on a clear sunny afternoon.  Conditions were good and the field hoped to return good scores.  The Medal of Medalists’  groups all went off the 1st tee others headed off the 3rd, 5th and 6th.   Sadly, as so often with golf on a tight course,  it was tough to card a good score.  On a beautiful, late autumn afternoon the results were;

1st; May Medalist & ’23/24 Medal of Medalists; Zac Scales – 107/37/70

2nd; Mick Squire – 76/5/71

3rd; Steve Wilkins – 92/18/74

NTPs; 15th Mal Mottram, Best 2nd Shot 3rd – Andrew Laing, Longest Drive 4th – Mal Mottram

Least Putts; Anthony Lakey – 28
