Saturday May 13th – Rd 2, 2023 Men’s Club Championships

The second round of the 2023 Men’s Club Championships got under way on a beautiful autumn day; clear skies, just the slightest puff of a wind and a temperature in the mid to high teens.  The round was also the May Stableford round for the 2023 Bruce Robb Medal.   The fairways were again in top nick and the greens and surrounds were a pleasure to play on allowing the groups of three to move smoothly around the course.  The benign conditions saw some excellent golf with numerous players breaking their handicaps.  On another top day to out on the park the results were;

1st; Simon Donovan (15) – 41 pts

2nd; Luke Lyons (12) – 39 pts

3rd; Davey Kenney (13) – 37 pts C/B Mal Mottram (9), Mitch Atlas (6)

NTPs; 1st – Mal Mottram, 15th – Dean Kohler & 16th – Mick Nicholls Jnr
