Saturday June 17th – Stableford

Another wonderful early winter’s day for the club’s stableford competition.  Players found plenty of dew on the fairways and greens and a steady southerly breeze so there was little run once the ball landed.   The sun soon broke through and the round was played in beautiful conditions.  Again, a number of players put together excellent front nines, even good 15 holes before the wheels fell off after an errant drive or a poorly played approach shot lobbed well over the back of the green.  Suddenly a 40+ score was dragged right back.  On a beautiful winter’s day the results were;

Winner; Michael McCarten (12) – 37 pts from Bob McLennan (13) & Rob Rea (18) 36 pts & Mal Mottram (11) 35 pts
