Saturday July 5th – 4B Aggregate Stableford

In this form of golf the total for each team is determined by adding the individual hole Stableford scores of the two players who make up the team. Players are also handicapped based on their own Stableford score for the round. The temperature crept up to around 10°C in the morning, but by 12:30 it was falling again. Play was greatly affected by the north/north-easterly wind, which started at around 35 kph and increased to over 45 kph.  Some holes played very long, while others were affected by the strong crosswind. Keeping the ball low and in play was crucial. Despite the day’s difficulties, the teams enjoyed themselves and some good scores were achieved. The best individual scores were; Luke Lyons (7) – 35 points and Dylan Harris (6) – 34 points, while the team results were:

1st;  Luke Lyons (7)/Mitch Thomas(21) – 65 pts

2nd; Dylan Harris (6)/Simon Donovan (8) – 63 pts

3rd;   Dean Kohler (7)/Sherif Abdel-Sayed (29) – 59 pts
