Saturday January 24th – January Medal, stroke & putts

The round started under still, sunny skies.  There was good run on all fairways and the greens, apart from some corella damage, were in good condition and putted very consistently.  The condition of the surrounds  made it far simpler for a missed approach shot to be chipped up closer to the cup.   Later in the round the wind blew up from the south making some holes play far longer than usual.  On another top day to be out on the course the results were;

1st & January Medalist – Luke Lyons – 73/7/66

2nd; Andrew Clement – 80/11/69 C/B

3rd; Mick Nicholls Snr – 94/25/69
