After two days of 35ºC a temperature in the low to mid 20s was much appreciated.   Players hit off with a steady southerly wind but this faded to a gentle breeze by about the 9th hole.  The fairways had hardened so everyone got excellent value for well struck shots.  The greens were fast and true; a number of players required only one putt on well over half their holes. It was a day of two halves for quite a few golfers; scoring low teens on one nine then well into the 20s on the the other nine.  On a sunny afternoon the results were;

1st; Keith Hocking (31) – 38 pts

2nd; Mick Nicholls Snr (26) – 37 pts C/B

3rd; Mal Mottram (9) – 37pts

NTPs; 15th – Luke Lyons, 16th – Bob McLennan
