Saturday December 18th – Ambrose & Presentation Day

The first really warm day of the of the summer soothe shorts were on and there was plenty of sunscreen however, the cool change moved in mid afternoon making conditions far more pleasant.  The course was again in top nick and with an Ambrose format some good scoring was expected.  The recent heat had dried the top of the fairways so balls travelled much further once they landed.  The surrounds were immaculate so no excuses when chipping up to the flag.  With presentation day to conclude the event there was an excellent field.  Life members John Laing and Peter Scanlon were on hand to present their shields.  Long time members, ex captain, secretary and pennant captain, Les & Bev Gaunt are moving on to Moama.  Both were thanked for their wonderful service to the club.   On a wonderful afternoon to be out on the park the results were;
