Saturday August 9th – W. E. Tom Semi-finals & Stableford

What a stunning late winter’s day, clear skies, virtually no wind and the 14C feeling much warmer.  The course was in great condition and good individual scoring was expected.  The two W. E. Tom shield semis were going to be tough; all players were very experienced in handicap match-play and had many years experience playing at Romsey, no pair really had any advantage,  the better golf would win the day.  The day’s results were;

1st; Davey Kenney (12) – 38pts

2nd; Mal Mottram (10) – 36 pts

3rd; Mitch Atlas (7) – 27 pts 

NTPs; 7th/16th – Andrew Clement, 11th – Keith Hocking, D&P 3rd – Mal Mottram, Longest Drive – Dylan Harris
