Saturday April 29th – April Medal, stroke & putts

The autumn Monthly Medal began on another beautiful mid autumn day; sunny with a light wind.  Some overnight rain had softened the fairways making the course play longer than over the last few weeks.  With excellent cover on the fairways everyone was able to get good lies and attack the greens with their approach shots.  The greens were again in top nick, a credit to Steve Wilkins. There was some excellent golf played with a number of golfers scoring under their handicaps. On a top afternoon the results were;

1st & April Medalist; Clive Mensforth – 110/41/69

2nd; Scott Williams – 87/17/70

3rd; Mal Mottram – 80/9/71

NTPs; 15th– Mick Squire

Least Putts; Scott Williams – 25
