Monday March 10th – Labour Day Stableford

With an expected top temperature of over 30C there were two hit-off times, 9.30 and 12.00.  The day was mostly hot, dry and still.  Hard fairways meant plenty of run and many players found themselves driving through the corners on some holes leading to tricky return shots.  Relief from damaged areas on the greens was welcomed but generally the greens and surrounds were in excellent condition.  On a hot, dry afternoon the results were;

1st; Anthony Lakey (23) – 40 pts

2nd; Bob McLennan (15) – 35 pts

3rd; Mick Squire (6) – 34 pts

NTPs; 1st – Anthony Lakey, 16th – Shaun Scales, Longest Drive 6th – Luke Lyons
