Wednesday October 11th – 1st Rd – Singles K/O

The First Round of Singles Knockout  was played in very blustery conditions making for a” tough day at the office”.  Some players toured the rough a little too much and, if they found the few uncut areas, it was very thick more than challenging to get back on to the fairway with any length on the shot.  Those playing nine holes played a stroke event and counted putts.  Jenny Hartley  had a wonderful day, making the most of the conditions, recording the best round of the day, taking out nearest the pin on the third and having the least putts.  On a windswept morning the results were;
