Wednesday August 14th – 4BBB Stableford

On a very chilly but windless day  golfers braved the conditions to play a round of Stableford – Four Ball Better Ball. Considering the recent weather the course looked amazing with all fairways well trimmed and the rough (The rest of Romsey Park) mown. The course was heavy with  some large areas of casual water on the sixth fairway.  The greens were holding well and running true.  Despite the wonderful feeling of being out on a beautifully presented golf course it was difficult to score well however, competition was fierce, the morning’s results were;

Winners; Wendy Gosden/Jenny Hartley – 34 Pts from Lorraine Robb/Darlene Baker – 30 pts and Kath Jekabsons/Elaine Scanlon – 29 pts
