RGC members Wendy Gosden and Darlene Baker left bright and early to make the long journey to the Strathbogie Golf Club for their annual tournament.  The course was in magnificent condition with lush green fairways and very true and receptive greens.  Rain threatened for most of the round with quite dark clouds hovering for the entire day.  A drizzly rain broke through a couple of times and had the umbrellas going up and down and up again but was not really enough to dampen anyone’s sprit or seriously interfere with the golf.

Wendy finished with a good round c with a nett 74.   Darlene also produced an excellent round holing some long putts and driving very consistently to return 92/24/68.

This score was good enough to win the B Grade scratch event and also score four points in the Dalhousie “Player of the Year Award”.
