Thursday October 24th – Marysville Open – Marysville G. C.

The Marysville Tournament was held on a warm day with the temperature close to 30C, a gentle breeze gave some relief but plenty of water was needed to keep hydrated.  The course was in very good condition, well maintained fairways and quite fast and true greens. The numerous creek crossings were daunting as the water was flowing fiercely.

Overall Winner; Marysville local, Gail Leigh (11) – 87.
RGC players also performed well;.

A Grade; Darlene Baker 95/20/75 winning the Net

B Grade; Jenny Hartley was in a four player count-back for best net score but unfortunately was pipped at the post.

C Grade; Wendy Gosden kept the Romsey colours flying by claiming the runner up trophy and also getting nearest the pin on the 18th.
