The day began in light drizzle, this lifted and the sun came out, making for a very humid, sticky afternoon.    After another 30+mm of rain  during Thurs/Fri had the course both very green and quite soft.  Some of the wetter greens proved very tricky with many players under or over hitting their putts leaving difficult shots for par.  The cold air and soft fairways also had players second guessing their club selection with longer than usual approach shots and surrounds that sucked the life out of a shot.  The 4B Multiplier, Stableford format proved quite challenging.  A number of pairs recorded 9s or 12 on a hole only to crash back to earth with a 0 or a 2 on the next.  On an interesting afternoon the results were;

4B Multiplier Winners; Anthony Freeman (20)/Neil Monro (15) – 61 pts from Scott Williams (19)/Chris vanDerVliet (25) – 59 pts

Individual Results; Anthony Freeman (20) 35 pts from Scott Williams (19) -34 pts

NTPs; 1st – Anthony Freeman, 15th – Mal Mottram & 16th – Anthony Freeman
