Saturday April 1st – DDGA Mixed Pairs – 4BBB Stableford

30 players assembled for the inaugural Dalhousie District Mixed Pairs Stableford competition. Teams came from Romsey, Lancefield, Trentham, Broadford, Seymour, Woodend and Marysville golf clubs. Conditions were cool and overcast with a blustery northerly wind however now and again the sun shone through and the wind dropped making for a far more pleasant golfing environment. The players found the fairways in good condition but, as a result of the Little Corella damage, the greens were quite varied but most of the field had seen similar damage to their courses over the last few months. By 3.00 the field was heading to the rooms for a well earned late lunch and a few quiet drinks. On a challenging yet enjoyable day the results were;

Women NTPs; 3rd – J. Vennell (Lancefield) 15th – M. Howard (Marysville)
Men NTPs; 1st – S. Cresswell 15th – M. Fountain (Seymour)
